During the pre-recording of Mnet's music program 'M Countdown,' featuring aespa, a fire broke out on stage, fortunately with no casualties reported.
According to CJ ENM, on the morning of the 16th, flames erupted from the set at the edge of the stage during the pre-recording session at CJ ENM Center in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
CJ ENM promptly evacuated the audience and aespa members from the shooting location and swiftly extinguished the fire. Thanks to the quick response of the staff, the fire was contained before it could spread significantly.
Following the fire suppression, pre-recording of performances by other artists resumed as scheduled. 'M Countdown' aired as planned at 6 p.m. on the same day.
