The tvN drama "Queen of Tears" is on the verge of claiming the title of the highest-rated drama in the history of the network.

According to Nielsen Korea, a South Korean viewership research company, the 14th episode of "Queen of Tears," which aired on the 21st, recorded a remarkable 21.625% nationwide viewership among paid households. This marked an increase of over 1 percentage point (p) from the previous day's 13th episode, which garnered 20.179%, and stands as the show's highest viewership to date.

Of particular note, the 21.625% achieved by the 14th episode of "Queen of Tears" also ranks as the second-highest viewership in the history of tvN dramas. Currently, the highest-rated drama in tvN history is "Crash Landing on You," which aired its 16th episode on February 16, 2020, and achieved a viewership of 21.683% (21.7%). The difference between the highest and second-highest ratings is a mere 0.058 percentage points. With only two episodes remaining until its conclusion, all eyes are now on whether "Queen of Tears" can surpass this record.
