V of the group BTS released his new digital single "FRI(END)S" at 1 p.m. on Saturday. It has been about six months since his first solo album "Layover" in September last year.
According to Big Hit Music, the agency, "Friends" is an English song in the Pop Soul R&B genre that ends the end between friends and confesses the desire to develop into a relationship beyond that. Big Hit Music introduced, "Sweet lyrics, sweet melodies, V's tone and emotions are harmoniously mixed."
"I prepared this song because I wanted to record it while looking for a song for our fans," V said through Big Hit Music. "I think ARMY will like the song because it's full of charms. Please enjoy it as much as you want."
V finished recording "Friends" before the release of "Layover" last year. V joined the army in December last year and will be discharged in June 2025.
