Two colors associated with the word ‘Dokdo’ were selected and applied to the ballpoint pen.The ballpoint pen itself reminds us of our land, Dokdo.

This product is designed to have a matte texture and a subtle pearl expression at the same time.

153 Dokdo is an oil-based ballpoint pen with a soft and comfortable writing feel. Its moderate weight provides a stable grip when writing. It is convenient because it is a knock type and can be easily used anywhere. An additional 1.0mm thick FX 4000 refill  is provided. Anyone can easily change and use refill refills by turning the handle on the front of the ballpoint pen.

The 153 Dokdo package, made of thick tributaries, is characterized in a solid shape that embraces the sea. 153 Dokdo’s unique products designed so that no separate packaging is required when gifting. The package stands out, and the sponge (EVA) can be removed after taking out the ballpoint pen. It can also be used to store small items such as pen cases, tapes, and clips.

The Monami Ball-point pen(a.k.a 153) was first sold on May 1, 1963, and continues to be made and sold steadily to this day, making it a steady seller and a living piece of history in Korean writing instruments.
