HWAYO, a traditional Korean distilled liquor, announced on the 15th that it has been selected as the official soju partner for the world's leading gourmet guide 'World 50 Best Restaurant' and 'Asia 50 Best Restaurant'.
Asia's 50 Best Restaurant is an Asian event of the world's prestigious "World 50 Best Restaurant," called the Oscars of the gastronomic world, bringing together world-famous chefs and gourmet experts. Since 2013, the event has been held every year in major Asian tourist cities such as Singapore, Bangkok and Macau, and this year's award ceremony will be held in Seoul for the first time.
The award ceremony will be held at the Parnas Hotel in Seoul on the 26th, and the "2024 World 50 Best Restaurants" award ceremony will be held in Las Vegas in June.
HWAYO is the first Korean soju brand to be selected as the official soju partner for "World 50 Best Restaurant" and "Asia 50 Best Restaurant" and participate in all official events. This year is the first time that the "World 50 Best Restaurant" has selected a partner in the soju field since its first opening in 2002, and HWAYO will be the first Korean liquor company to receive the honor.
A 50 Best official explained, "HWAYO is a liquor created with the aim of 'globalizing Korean food culture', and we decided to select it as an official soju partner because it is a brand that best reveals the value of true soju with Korea's identity."
