 Since Sin Yun-bok's Miindo was firstly open to the public as an entry to the overseas exhibition "Masterpieces of Korean Art" in 1957, it was selected as a famous work representing Korean art history, displayed in a traveling exhibition of Europe, Japan, and America, and introduced in Korea through homecoming exhibition. As Miindo was exhibited in overseas exhibitions, it was discovered as an art work representing Korean art.
