Foreign tourists visiting Seoul will also be able to book restaurants through a mobile application.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 11th that it will sign a "business agreement to revitalize Seoul gourmet tourism" with Wad Co., Ltd., which operates the restaurant reservation app "Catch Table."

Until now, it has been difficult for foreign tourists to use the app because they need a Korean phone number to sign up for the app, but in the future, it will be possible to easily book restaurants by simply signing up with e-mail.

In addition, the two organizations agreed to cooperate in various ways, including ▲ mutual idea cooperation to promote food culture in Seoul ▲ joint promotion of Seoul gourmet-related events ▲ joint promotion of the global version of the catchtable ▲ improving the convenience of tourists through the expansion of users and stores in the global version of the catchtable.

With this agreement, the city will hold joint promotions online and offline for foreign tourists to enjoy Seoul's gastronomy (May 1-6) and Seoul Gourmet Week (November 8-14).
