The music video for the group Newjeans' "ETA" received a bronze medal at the Asia-Pacific region's flagship advertising festival Spikes Asia.
The agency ADOR announced on the 18th that Newjeans' music video for "ETA" recently won the Bronze Spikes Asia at "Spikes Asia 2024."
Newjeans was also shortlisted for a campaign that collaborated with brand Coca-Cola in the same category.
"Spikes Asia" is an Asia-Pacific regional advertising festival organized by the organizing committee of the global advertising festival "Kan Lions," and this year, 3,200 campaigns submitted from 24 countries and regions competed.
The music video for "ETA," a song from Newjeans' second mini album "Get Up" released in July last year, was produced by director Shin Woo-suk as part of the global brand Apple's "Take it with an iPhone" campaign.
As the music video was reportedly filmed through the iPhone 14 Pro at the time of its release and drew attention, ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin also revealed the background, saying, "I wanted to make a music video with light equipment, away from the existing framework."
